My recentest companion (yes, I declare that a word) has Crohn’s and PKD and has managed it successfully by refusing Western medicine for twenty years. Her mother had PKD and died as a result of the care (which statistically was not unlikely). Now, speaking of physical health emotional health, I’m sicker’n I’ve been in years and can’t help wondering if it’s no coincidence I was taken out of a weekend I really looked forward to but that potentially carried some emotional risk. Whether or not, I’ll be taking the next opportunity anyway. 🙂 Think of Churchill’s 1940 speech to Parliament.
