Making it a GOOD Morning

Making it a GOOD Morning

When my alarm goes off at 6 AM every day I don’t always have the same reaction.

Some days I jump out of bed and eagerly begin my Qigong and meditation practices.

Some days it takes me a few minutes to muster up the energy to get out of bed.

And other days I let myself sleep in.

My routine is not having a routine.

This lack of a strict daily regiment is important for someone like me.

I am only moderately disciplined and I am definitely prone to having a resistant mindset… especially first thing in the morning.

I don’t deal with obligation well.

We all need every morning to be a “Good Morning!” so we can start the day off right.

Sometimes feeling obligated to push yourself to do a self care practice can make even fun or relaxing activities feel like drudgery.

Thankfully rest is also part of healing, self care, and rejuvenation.

Yay!

If you find yourself hitting the snooze button, just make sure you balance those mornings with actively pursuing self care.

Regardless of what you choose when you wake, set yourself up for success and happiness by greeting each day with a hearty GOOD Morning!
