Time has slowed down.
Everything feels on hold.
Nothing is what it was.
Nor will it ever be again.
Some things I truly miss.
Some things I don’t.
And many things I thought I would miss are but a memory with no feelings of loss or regret.
So absence certainly does make the heart grow.
For some things, fonder.
For other things, farther.
And for both, they are exactly what I need for my heart to grow bigger.
